About

Hello and welcome!

I'm Kate and I love to share beauty and joy through flowers! I grow on 1/4 acre in Lancaster County, PA with the support of a few family members, and focus on dahlias, peonies, and flowers for drying. We provide fresh-cut flowers to our community through spring and fall bouquet subscriptions as well as special orders. If you're a local florist, send us an email to receive our availability lists! We also sell and ship our extra dahlia tubers nationwide each spring, and our dried flower creations are shared with customers internationally.

I started this journey in 2017 when I bought my grandparents' house and began growing flowers in my grandma's garden. At first I just shared my flowers with neighbors and other teachers at the school where I worked, and then began providing florals for brides during the pandemic. While I no longer do full-service weddings now that I have two little ones at home, I do offer DIY buckets and consultation, as well as a la carte personal flowers. Since moving to a property with a little more space, I've shifted my focus to growing more of just a few crops...though one of those is dahlias, and as a collector I can't seem to stop adding varieties! I currently grow around 2,000 plants of over 100 cultivars, though that number is forever changing as I trial new ones. Even though dahlias keep me busy year-round, I've found time to hop on the current flower-farmer trend of seed-saving and breeding, specifically dahlias and celosia. This spring, I'll have celosia seed from my garden available, along with a few other seed types that I grow for dahlia bouquet filler or dried flowers.
