Tulip bulbs for fall planting are shipping now!
To meet wholesale minimums, I ordered more than I need to plant so I'm offering my extras.
Apricot Parrot is a late-flowering, parrot tulip that makes an ideal cut flower. These blooms are technically singles, but the ruffly, feathery petals are beautifully dramatic! Stems are typically 18-20".
These bulbs are not pre-chilled, so they'll need an extended cold period before blooming. Plant 4-6" deep and keep well-watered. Pull the entire plant out and cut the bulb off for the longest stem, and harvest before the flower is fully open for the longest vase life.
I didn't grow this variety last year because parrot tulips can be a little more expensive than other varieties I grow, but I missed them so much I had to bring them back!
